DESIGN I

In Design I, we explored spatial abstraction through Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities, focusing on the city of Chloe. Through experiments with lines, planes, cubes, and carved blocks, I developed a deeper understanding of form and composition. The course also incorporated collage techniques, analyzing the construction phases of New York City to bridge conceptual thinking with architectural representation.
